Jamestown acquired The Shops Buckhead Atlanta on July 18th and quickly engaged the surrounding residents and businesses in a townhall meeting on the 23rd, to better understand what the community envisions for the 2.7 acres of retail and office space.

Jamestown Properties Acquires The Shops Buckhead
The community expressed their desire for more locally owned businesses, healthier restaurants and a family friendly environment. In speaking with Michael before the event he told me a story of shopping for his first blazer at the age of 10 at The Buckhead Men’s Shop. It was then he realized that some day he wanted to own this piece of Buckhead.
The coolest part of the listening session was the connectivity he and his business partner, Matt Bronfman, had with their audience. It’s great that they want the community to be a partner in helping them position the development in Buckhead. Other mixed use destination projects Jamestown Properties has completed are Ponce City Market, White Provisions District on the Westside, San Francisco’s Ghirardelli Square and Manhattan’s Chelsea Market.
