Presented by Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Magazine, the house will host a variety of events, from book-signings to history lessons and festivities! Guests will also be delighted with the creative talents of 25 designers from the Southeast. General Admission to the Showhouse is available at a cost of $25 per ticket.About the 2018 Showhouse
This year’s showhouse is a new, 9,804-square-foot estate designed by architecture firm Harrison Design and built by Sheehan Built Homes. The showhouse features the work of 15 top Southeast designers and four landscape architects for the gardens on a deep 1.13-acre lot in Buckhead. Inspired by the English country homes designed by architect Sir Edwin Lutyens in the early 1900s, the seven-bedroom, six-bath residence features dramatic yet cozy elements, such a steep roof, front courtyard and five fireplaces. The exterior is composed of brick and stone masonry with limestone accents, while the covered rear porch features timber framing. The English cottage opens to two grand matching stairwells and 11-foot ceilings, which along with a wall of windows in the kitchen create a light-filled space for today’s family. Modern elements also include two master suites, an elevator and two laundry rooms. The full daylight basement with a bar opens to a pool terrace and gardens, which present lush and lively spaces for entertaining.2018 Events
